Greenfield has also started a “Hometown Hero Brick” area at the southwest corner of the bandstand. There are bricks purchased for Hometown veterans or current service individuals and displayed by the grandstand. You may pick up a form to purchase a brick at City Hall, 510 Walnut St., Greenfield, IL 62044.
FFA students handed out pins to veterans and served breakfast

Representatives C.D. Davidsmeyer and Rodney Davis were on hand for the dedication ceremony. |
A twenty one gun salute and taps were played in memory of the fallen soldiers.
