Grocery Store

Mayor Meyer announced via his official social media, that the city is in active discussions with the local grocery store to assist them in improving the customer experience. Mayor Meyer stated the following:

“
I have initiated discussions with the ownership and management of our grocery store with multiple phone calls and in-person meetings, bringing these very real concerns to store ownership personnel. After many hours of calls, in-person meetings, and a “boots on the ground” approach in the store itself, we have identified numerous points of concern and the solutions to these issues. Ownership is also exploring some new, exciting upgrades that they feel will help better serve Greenfield, bringing our store into the modern era. It is my hope that the faults in recent operations and the miscommunication between store management and ownership, is set to resolve in the coming months.”

Pride of Greenfield Award

The Lions Club recently presented their newest selection for the Pride of Greenfield award to the city council and I am proud to announce that the Greenfield Fire Protection District is the recipient of the February Pride of Greenfield award!

Our fire district constructed this beautiful new building in recent years and we are happy that those who are always there to answer the call have the facilities they need to operate at their best. Not to mention the visual improvement it has been for our community. Thank you GFPD for all you do for us everyday and for keeping this new staple of Greenfield in tip-top shape! Congratulations!
